About Us: Marc Lees, ex pro Australian triathlete has owned Raceday wheels since 2005 and has been involved in transporting Ironman partners and vendors around the US and to Kona Hawaii for the last 15 years. I know some people are worried about shipping their bikes to Kona, But It’s not new for us! We have shipped bikes to Kona Hawaii for QR, Felt, Cervelo, Canyon and some of our other vendors include: ZOOT, Wynn, ZIPP, SRAM, ENVE, HOKA, XLABS, IRONMAN, Hyperice, OAKLEY, Zwift, Tri Dot, Orca Plunge & Shimano. We see a need for bike transport to Kona and trying to help athletes get their bikes to the island safe and undamaged and not have the hassle of packing and unpacking them. It’s not cheap to organize and collect bikes from all over the country, so please spread the word as we know its a small community.
The Bike Sherpa is part of the Race Day Company, based in Tucson AZ and own’s Racedaywheels.com which has been renting carbon fiber wheels and bikes since 2005. In 2024 the Race Day Company will now offer bike transport to the Ironman World Championships in KONA HI. and select events around the US.
Our goal is to make bike shipping easy and simple without the stress! The Bike Sherpa will save you time, money and hassle! We have been shipping sponsors and vendors stuff for the last 15 years. Now we are looking at serving the athletes. We are a fully assembled bike transport service, just the pedals are removed. Pick up across the US only.
